For some time, I've been pondering on setting up a podcast, to support service personnel transition successfully to civvy street. As Bronze holders of the Employer Recognition Scheme, I wanted Careers Ideas Ltd to do something more than what we do already to support transitioning service members and their families. After watching the final film in the Mission Impossible film series, the idea was born:-

Earlier this year, Careers Ideas supported two work placement students as part of their work experience week, Lottie came to us in May, Stivan in July.

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) takes place between 5 to 11 February 2024 and is an opportunity for the education and skills sector to celebrate the achievements of apprentices around the country and the positive impact they make to communities, businesses, and the wider economy.😁

As a military veteran, transitioning to civilian life can be a daunting prospect. The structured environment of the military may have been your norm for years, making the transition into the unknown of civilian careers seem overwhelming. However, with the right mindset, guidance, and resources, you can navigate this transition successfully.

Last week I was delighted to be invited to give a presentation to the Armed Forces Covenant Partnership Group meeting at Standfast Barracks in Lancaster.

We are delighted to announce that Careers Ideas Ltd have formally received the Bronze award from the Defence Recognition Scheme (ERS) and are the 100th employer in Lancashire to receive this coveted award! 🥉
