Becoming a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) represents more than a professional milestone.
We are delighted to announce that Careers Ideas Ltd have formally received the Bronze award from the Defence Recognition Scheme (ERS) and are the 100th employer in Lancashire to receive this coveted award! 🥉
In their e-mail to me the UK Ministry of Defence stated;
'We would like to thank you for your statement of intent to support defence personnel. The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel. The scheme comprises bronze, silver and gold awards for employers who support those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families.
As someone who has served in our Armed Forces, I recognise the important role our Defence personnel play in keeping our Country safe. I also recognise how important it is to provide Career guidance and employment support to personnel transitioning to civvy street.
The values I learnt all those years ago as a young recruit, Discipline, Respect, Trust, Integrity, Courage, Teamwork have been the cornerstones of my professional and personal life. Certa Cito.
