I was absolutely delighted to be invited by John Stephenson of Forces Transition Group to join their employer event in Cheltenham earlier this month and live record an episode for my podcast, Mission Employable UK®.

It was inspiring to see so many organisations actively seeking the skills, experience, and resilience that service leavers, veterans, reservists, and military families bring to the workforce.

Events like this are so important. They help bridge the gap between military service and civilian employment by fostering meaningful employer engagement. I was proud to record so many wonderful discussions from service personnel seeking roles to a very diverse range of employers seeking to recruit.

A huge thank you to John, Mandy, Alicia, Jasmine, Paul and the whole Forces Transition Group for the warm welcome and for the work they continue to do in supporting successful transitions. I look forward to continuing the conversation at their next event on Tuesday 14th April at Manchester Concorde Conference Centre, and building even stronger partnerships across the employer community, as FTG would say Serve Well, Leave Well and Flourish!
