Careers Ideas have joined Lancaster District Training Providers Network to enable us to work in partnership with other organisations across the Lancaster region. This collaborative approach will ensure there is provision for economically inactive and unemployed adults to gain support into work. The Network will also explore ways in which we can support employers across the district by offering relevant skills training to their current and future workforce.

The Network supports the strategic outcomes defined within the Lancashire Enterprise Partnerships and adds value including, increased prosperity, economic growth, promoting social inclusion, social cohesion and equality and diversity.

We aim to support employers with their recruitment and retention and promote the Lancashire Skills Escalator. Only by working collaboratively can we shape a regionally successful workforce that helps to address the skills gap within our County.
